Dr Carole Edmond DPhil MA, Founder glassmoon

Carole’s belief in the importance of supporting women’s advancement in business and leadership resulted in her leaving her previous role to study a topic she calls “female attainment”. The research aimed to identify the factors which help senior women attain in their working-lives and keep on the career track.

From this, she founded glassmoon, which combines her passion for helping women and men  “Attain” their leadership potential along with better quality working-lives and fulfilling careers.

“Helping women learn how to lead, own their career and have a fulfilling working-life is worth the investment for employers. The returns will be felt from the front-line to the bottom-line. Women make a difference”

As a career-mum with a young daughter, she has been a role model to many women looking to integrate work and personal life during significant phases of business growth.

Carole has supported male leaders to move from a long-hours work culture to a more flexible, fulfilling and sustainable way to have a career and a family life.

The glassmoon mission is to inspire employers to make women in leadership a strategic imperative. To help women have the career they want and a life they can enjoy. Enable men to see women fulfilling their potential in the workplace benefits everyone.
